Binance put strategy automation behind a chat window on October 19, 2026. The exchange launched Binance AI Pro, an AI agent that lets users type out a trading idea in everyday language and get back a working automated strategy. No code, no separate download — it runs inside Binance's own web platform and app, and needs no extra registration.

The pitch is simple: describe the trade, skip the code.

The flow starts with plain words. A user describes the assets, the buy and sell conditions, the parameters and the risk limits — the way you would explain a plan to a friend. The agent fills in the gaps and sharpens the idea, then renders it as a visual workflow called the Strategy Canvas. On desktop the canvas sits beside the chat so every step can be clicked open, edited, deleted or annotated. On mobile the whole thing happens through conversation.

Before anything real touches the market, the strategy runs on virtual funds in a simulated environment. Going live takes a separate approval, and live runs inside a dedicated AI Strategy Account — a virtual sub-account walled off from the user's main balance.

The guardrails are the interesting part. Only the user can fund that account, through a manual transfer. The agent cannot move money by itself, and it cannot send funds to outside addresses. Strategies can be paused, adjusted or revoked at any time. It can propose and it can test — it cannot reach into your wallet.

At launch, AI Pro covers spot trading and USDS-margined futures, with more products promised later. It also does non-trading jobs — daily reports, market monitoring, subscription alerts and signal generation.

Pricing runs on credits. The free Standard Plan includes 250,000 monthly credits. Premium costs 19.99 USDC a month for 10 million credits, access to more AI models, and credit top-ups. Each user can run up to 10 strategies across live trading, paper trading and signal feeds. Two limits matter: historical backtesting is not available at launch, and regional restrictions apply.

Why it matters

Exchanges have been racing to productize AI for two years, but most of it has been chatbots that answer questions. Binance is selling something different: the output of a strategy desk — the workflow itself — to retail. Turning natural language into an executable plan removes the biggest barrier for the average trader, which was never conviction, it was implementation. A retail user with a solid idea about grid entries around a range could previously either code it, pay a developer, or give up.

For Binance, the economics are straightforward. Credit-based pricing keeps free users inside the ecosystem while the 19.99 USDC tier converts power users. Ten strategies per user is a ceiling that nudges serious automators toward Premium. And every strategy runs on Binance's own rails, so the activity feeds volume back into the exchange. Expect rivals to be asked about their answer — the last big Binance move covered here was compliance-driven; this one is product-driven, and it lands squarely on our Binance exchange page.

What to watch

  • Whether the 250,000-credit free tier hooks users or pushes them to Premium within a month
  • When Binance adds historical backtesting — paper trading is forward-only without it, and serious quants will keep their own tooling
  • How regional restrictions map to actual availability across Asia, Europe and the Americas
  • Copycat launches from Coinbase, Kraken or Bybit, and whether any undercut the 19.99 USDC price point

MarketRadar take

Neutral-to-positive for the Binance ecosystem. AI Pro is an engagement product, not a price catalyst — read it as a retention and volume play. The isolated-account design is the right architecture: the headline risk of AI trading tools is the agent doing something unauthorized, and Binance closed that hole structurally rather than with promises. The missing backtesting is the honest weak point — strategies you can only test forward are strategies you cannot fully trust. Watch Premium conversion and the backtesting roadmap; those decide whether AI Pro becomes a standard exchange feature or a demo that fades.
